A great awakening is occurring across humanity, and there are now many active, helpful teachers from numerous spiritual paths and traditions to assist us in this awakening. It makes sense, then, that, in addition to the teachings of various mysticisms, there should arise a culture of mysticism reflecting the prevailing attitude as our species moves from fragmentation to greater understanding; that such ideas would appear now in our music, our literature, our television and film, and other areas of human undertaking. As spiders their webs or peacocks their trains, I have made verse. Humble my hope that it may make some small contribution to this culture.
